WELSH POPPY: This lovely orange relative to the infamous Himalayan Blue Poppy is easily grown from seed and will bloom the first summer. Cooler summer weather suites it best in a sunny location. Will reseed itself but not aggressively. Plants reach 40 - 45 cm tall - most of this is the flower stalk though. Can be started indoors in April in peat pots or direct seeding in late April. Do not cover the seeds as they need light to germinate properly. Looks similar to the Icelandic poppy. 70 seeds. P600 Sorry, sold out for 2009.
