ICELAND POPPY: A dainty perennial poppy with blossoms of orange, yellow, white and cream. Unlike Oriental poppies, Icelandic varieties produce flowers over most of the summer. Flowers have the texture of tissue paper and measure approximately 5 cm across. Readily reseed themselves which is good as the plants are generally short-lived. Sow direct in the garden in mid spring or start indoors in peat pots in April. Can be fall seeded also. Prefers full sun, well-drained soils and are quite drought resistant.   200 seeds.    P608
