called the Bonnet Bellflower, this sprawling plant produces ice-blue large
bell-shaped flowers in June and July.
Inside the flowers are very intricate markings in yellow and purple.
Plants will grow in full to partial sun with good soil and even moisture.
Ideal for the rock garden or along
a water feature.
Plants give off an unpleasant smell when bruised.
Seeds should be moist stratified for 4-6 weeks before seeding.
Best to start indoors and transplant out.
Cover the seeds with .5 cm of soil and keep warm and moist until
germination occurs.
