
GERMAN CATCHFLY: When planted in rows or tight clumps, this species will put on an incredible show of deep pink in early June. The flower spikes are sticky, hence the name. Heights to 60 cm tall. Plants are tufted but will slowly spread to form colonies over time. Should be divided every 3-4 years to maintain vigor. Full sun and average soil and moisture suit this species best. Seeds can be seeded direct in late fall or early spring or sown in cell trays from mid April onwards. Cover the seeds with .5 cm of soil and keep moist. 100 seeds. P594
