ANTHEMIS CRETICA:   A mat-forming perennial, this alpine species has daisy-like white flowers with a bright yellow centre. Foliage is soft grayish-green and aromatic. Flowers appear in mid June and last sometimes till early September. Full sun and well-drained soils are essential for this species. Seeds should be started in cell trays from mid April onwards, covering them with just a fine dusting of soil. Transplant out when seedlings are of adequate size. Height is 10-15 cm.  60 seeds.    P433
