BLUE FLAX: Beautiful prairie native with medium to dark blue flowers. Grows to 75 cm tall. May bloom the first year if started indoors in April. Blossoms open in the morning, and are finished by the evening - a new set will appear the following day. Generally starts to bloom in late June and may continue till late September. Direct seed into a sunny, rather dry site. Best planted in clumps as individual plants are quite straggly.   150 seeds.  NF804
