ARTEMISIA FRIGIDA:  Naturally suited for hot, dry, poor soils – this species is an ideal candidate for small spaces.  Growing 30-40 cm tall with fine lacy grey leaves, the plants become woody with age.  Typical wild sage smell to the plants.  Inconspicuous flowers appear on small spikes in late summer.  Seeds can be sown direct in late fall, early spring or started indoors after a 3-4 week moist stratification period.  Cover the seeds with just a light dusting of soil and keep moist.   100 seeds.    NF 718
