RED CORN POPPY:  A native of Europe where it grows wild, these beautiful red poppies have done the same in our gardens. Producing an abundance of tiny seeds each year, they are an ever present feature. Although the seed pods are small in comparison other poppies, they do preserve well for winter craft use. Sow direct in late fall or early spring, as soon as the ground can be worked. Poppies germinate better in cooler weather and are very hard to transplant. They do best in full sun, too much shade and the plants begin to fall over when the blooms appear. To 90 cm tall.   200 seeds.    A173
