CROWNBEARD DAISY: This interesting and beautiful flower is native to parts of the Rocky Mountain States. Preferring full sun and rather dry poorer soils it reaches heights of 120 cm or more. The plant is covered in large yellow daisy-like flowers in mid to late summer. Good choice for the background garden or a 'wildflower' garden. Sow seeds direct in late April or start in containers in early April and transplant out when all danger of frost is over. Large flat seeds remind one of oatmeal.  Will self-seed  each year.   50 seeds.    A292
